has any one tried this battery wallet

i’m was looking around for a case for my ipaq55xx and stumbled accross one of these – NeuNeo PowerPocket Battery Wallet.

http://www.neodigits.com/shtmls/wal…et_2800_1.shtml

has anyone got/used one – any thoughts – any problems? i was thinking of getting one and then putting in a 1 gig compact flash card if i get one of the these wallets. if anyone can recommend something better i would greatly appreciate it.

thanks.

I have not heard anything about it but it looks nice. I assume it is an adaptation of a CF expansion pack plus.

I just got one a month ago and it’s a godsend. I have a garmin GPS which goues thru battery power like you won’t believe, and this 2850 mah battery handles that easily, so I imagine the 1gig cf card won’t be a problem. I’d recommend it highly… BTW they’re in Hongkong so it takes a few days to get it over here…

This is another reason to be sad that expansion sleeves are going away. I know a lot of the things that we needed sleeves for can now be found in the unit itself, but I’m really going to miss all the third party stuff. Until they come out with a USB like option for real time plug-n-play accessories…

NeuNeo

It’s not really feedback, but Dave posted a news item about this back in June.

Agreed. See my Requiem For iPAQ Sleeves.

You mean like the RATOC Systems USB CF card or the Twin Paradox Dual USB CF card? (The latter isn’t shipping yet.)

Steve…the Twin Paradox Dual USB CF card looks very cool. Too bad there hasn’t been anything about it since December. I believe it might be a hot item if it makes it to market!

That is really sweet. It’d be even cooler if we could PPC drivers for things like Burners, but it looks like I’m gonna have to get one, especially if it can link up to my pocket drive. But again this product is totally lost on users of newer iPaqs (1900/4100/4300 I’m looking in your direction).
