How about some live video feed of Jack in the Canoe with or without the otterbox and using Skype with his hx4700 doing the intro.

I liked the shows length it gave me a bit of extra road time listening and hey I made my first mention in a podcast (thank you Dave) but the credit was another member on the forum I think onebyone found the info about iPaq warranty from HP. But it was still cool to have my username on a pod cast. Maybe I should have made it PocketPCMD, but oh well.

Something like 'Glug, glug'. I have visions of him falling overboard , but desperately holding the 4700 above water. Jack, you must remember that Otterbox. my son managed to drown 3 of his cell phones.

I make the motion that Jack opens next weeks Podcast. We could have him do it from his canoe on the lake.

s4czech, thats why I always like to have Jack or Steve do the intro but they always point the finger at me and say,"Its your show Dave!" Lol

I enjoy listening to podcasts while checking email or on the way to work in the car. It flows right along after that. It's amazing how listening about something rather then just reading gives you an added inturpritaion & angle on varoius topics. I only have one bit of constructive criticism. The intro/begining 30 seconds of your talk show sounds slightly ackward/nervous. (I'm not saying I could do a better job) I'm sure you'll get in the groove though as you reach #100. The added fun music/effects is more effort then most other podcasts.

You guys are just so great - David Lettermann watch out !!

You made me laugh when you talked about taking time to find which pocket your device was in. A bit like a woman searching through her purse ?

Two comments... I think the 40% cut for Handango is outrageous. It's not just for the Tablet store but I looked and their Partner info page also mentions that developers receive 60% of the sale. I agree that setting something up in PayPal would be more lucrative for the software developers as long as purchasers can be come aware of their product. I don't know what the other PocketPC software sites take off the top, but I'll look elsewhere first now.

The 2nd comment had to do with EVDO vs WiFi (802.11b). A comment was made, I think by Steve, that with EVDO, WiFi might not be an important feature. I think WiFi is important to many because it allows LAN access which EVDO might not be capable of (without configuring remote access into a network). I'm not familiar enough with EVDO coverage and real world speed to compare those vs WiFi, though of course, you need a hotspot nearby for WiFi access.

What is the name of the software company that makes a bittorrent client for pocket pc? You mentioned something about it in the podcast but didnt say a name. Google didn't turn anything up.

studsr, I think Dave was eating a sandwich and didn't want us to know! Seriously, I noticed a volume change during the recording of the show...we are just not sure why that happened but are working on improving it. Thanks for the comment because Dave thought it was just me...he is always picking on Steve and me!

Yes. Its good ol Skype... They are just soooo unstable its annoying. My voice was fine in the beginning and as toward the end it was low? Go figure?

Loved the podcast. Best one yet. It covered alot of different topics so there is a better chance of touching on something I am interested in. I don't think the length was too long. I did not notice the mic issue mentioned by studsr. Keep up the good work. Keep your iPaq in your pocket when driving!

Just listening to the latest podcast Dave - another great show, but I think something has happened to your mic level......it seems you are a lot quieter than Jack & Steve :-(
