One of our members in our community was walking around Cingular the other day and stumbled on this huge poster of the hw6515.. Apparently Cingular is prepping the release of the hw6515 and starting to send out these display's to each store. I haven't seen this yet in my stores but it looks pretty authentic!

I wouldn't recommend any non-Intel CPU PPC phone because of WM compatibility, etc.

I'm getting the QTEK 9100 or the 6515. Whichever comes out first. Saw an article today that claims the QTEK is available next week:

P.S.: Dave, I think we shop at the same Sherman Oaks Cingular store. The one in Studio City also has the poster up as well. And yes, none of them have any clue when the phone comes out.

Why hype a product with a display if they don't have a date. I know some will say its to generate a buzz about the device, but I would say you can't hype what you don't have and don't know when you will have it. If they 6515 gets delayed I could be encouraged back to Verizon for the WindowsMobile Treo and a BT GPS receiver.

Poster is up in Sherman Oaks, CA. I pointed at the poster and asked the sales guy, "when does that come out?" He replied, "September, October...not really sure."

I didn't have the heart to take my 6515 out of my belt case and send an email in front of him :-)

They've had that poster up in my local store for a week or two now... However, they went up before the possible "delay." So who knows what the deal is now... I wish they'd announce something already.
