Or, you can buy a second one to dedicate just for the battery box. I do not know any specific web sites located in the U.K. that sell this item, or a similar item. Here is a link to a company located in London that specializes in iPaq Parts and repairs. They might be able to help you find a similar item. http://www.ipaqrepair.co.uk/ Here in the states we have a company called Radio Shack that sells electrical components. A few years ago there was a Build-It-Yourself version of that battery box going around all of the iPaq sites. Only need a battery box, some wires, and a adapter plug, failry cheap items. Just assemble the unit and put in your batteries. If you are handy with a soldering iron you might want to see if you can find these directions on Google. Jack, I knew you had reviewed a battery box recently, but I could not find it. I guess I did not go back far enough when looking for it. That is a nice box. But, they sell direct. They do not list any European distributors. Good Luck, __________________ Reidan Moderator, Dave’s iPAQ Dave’s iPAQ is not affiliated with HP Members Only FAQ Section . Have news? Submit it . Banned 2 Days Join Date: Jan 2005 Posts: 17 | then again You Can simply Upgrade from the Factory batter to a higher mAh battery, Bigger capacity numbers will satisfy your needs for power. either that since youll be in a car Buy a A/C adapter for the cigarette lighter. Find them Cheap on ebay 30 bucks is the going rate for IPAQ battery Upgrades. I was gonna upgrade my 3635 from the factory 800 mAh (kinda shot since it was old) …. to a 1600 mAh battery. Fresh Extended batteries last about 3 hours with the backlight on too. |
