Moore Threads, a Chinese tech company, has unveiled its new entry-level video graphics card – MTT S30. Different from rather gaming-focused released models MTT S80 and MTT S70, as well as the workstation model MTT S50, the new MTT S30 is designed to cater to the needs of office computers.
The MTT S30 is integrated with 1024 MUSA cores in its GPU, which corresponds to only one-fifth of the graphic cores present in MTT S80. The onboard chip operates at a frequency of 1.3 GHz. As claimed by the manufacturer, the GPU offers an FP32 performance of 2.6 TFLOPS. The card features 4GB memory along with 128-bit bus support. An AV1 encoder is claimed to be included in the MTT S30.
The card boasts an energy consumption of merely 40W. It is equipped with VGA and HDMI video connectors, with the latter supporting up to 4K image output. The MTT S30 utilizes eight PCIe lines for operation.
The card’s specifications feature support for Android applications through the OpenGL ES graphical API. Additionally, the card supports the Vulkan API. However, it does not support any version of DirectX but that is set to change in an upcoming release of the graphical driver.
