The first gameplay trailer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 confirmed the game’s release date as October 25, and it will be available for purchase on PC (via Steam and Microsoft Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The shooter will also join the Game Pass library on release day.
Pre-orders outside of Russia have already begun. The standard edition of Black Ops 6 will cost $70, whereas the Vault Edition is priced at $100. The Vault Edition includes exclusive operator skins, blueprints, the first season battle pass, and a set of Gobblegum for Zombie mode.
A New Era in The Call of Duty Universe
The storyline of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set in the early 90s, during the Persian Gulf War. The plot revolves around a covert force infiltrating the US government, branding any dissidents as traitors, forcing the players to defy orders.
The game promises an explosive campaign with a “mind-boggling” story, featuring both new and familiar characters, as well as dynamic gameplay with diverse missions built “from the ground up”. The game also boasts a wide range of options for progressing through the story.

Epic Multiplayer Mode and Return of Zombies
Apart from the gripping storyline, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch with a multiplayer mode featuring 16 maps and the return of rounds in “Zombies”. Both of these modes will continually receive new content updates post-release.
An uninterrupted internet connection will be necessary for all game modes, including consoles, due to streaming of textures aimed at reducing game size. The game will require 149 GB on PC and over 300 GB on consoles, inclusive of MW 2 and MW 3 file sizes.
