Colorful, a leading tech company, has ushered in the Chinese New Year with the launch of the Loong Edition product line. This new series includes the GeForce RTX 4000 graphics cards and the Z790D5 Loong Edition motherboard, which translates to Dragon Edition from Chinese. Previously, the company had unveiled the GeForce RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti graphics cards, also part of the Loong Edition line, in anticipation of the upcoming holiday.
The Loong Edition product line design is a fusion of traditional Chinese art and modern technology, as the manufacturer notes in its press release. All products in the lineup are styled in white with golden dragon themed designs.
Colorful’s Loong Edition lineup includes the following GeForce RTX 40-series graphic cards and their prices:
- GeForce RTX 4060 available at 2599 Yuan (~$361)
- GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB at 3349 Yuan (~$465)
- GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB at 3699 Yuan (~$514)
- GeForce RTX 4070 Super costing 6199 Yuan (~$861)
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super available at 7899 Yuan (~$1097)
- Price for GeForce RTX 4080 Super is yet to be announced
- GeForce RTX 4090D is priced at 15 499 Yuan (~$2153)
All graphics cards feature a slight overclocking of their graphics processors.
The entire Colorful Loong Edition graphics card series is equipped with the physical OC Button, located on the panel of external video ports. Some models also include a detachable iSmart LCD that displays various information about the graphics card and animated graphics.
Special versions of graphics cards come in unique packaging that includes a collectible dragon coin, Chinese red luck envelopes, and a special mouse pad. Advanced models also come with a set of screwdrivers and an iGame flash drive.
In addition to the Loong Edition graphics cards, Colorful has also unveiled the Z790D5 Loong Edition motherboard, designed in the same thematic style. Based on the white iGame Ultra board, it features a dragon motif.
The motherboard boasts a 20-phase VRM power subsystem with an 18+1+1 phase layout and supports processors up to the Core i9 Raptor Lake Refresh generation. It also features DDR5-7800+ memory support via XMP overclocking profiles, and includes one PCIe 5.0 x16, as well as two PCIe 4.0 x4 ports.
The cost of the Z790D5 Loong Edition motherboard is yet to be disclosed by the manufacturer.
