Coverage from Chieftec’s booth at Computex 2024: Newly unveiled casings, liquid cooling systems and power units

At Computex 2024, Chieftec showcased an array of new products from novel inventions to refreshed versions of existing goods. The array included modern computer cases, power supply units, and liquid cooling systems for processors.

Chieftec Visio stands out due to its cubical form, glass outer walls and wide body, offering an excellent overview of the system housed within it. The casing is divided into two parts, with motherboard, graphics card, and cooling systems in one section, and storage, power unit, and all cables in the other.

The case supports ATX motherboards and is perfect for liquid cooling enthusiasts as it can house up to four radiators, including one 360mm each on the top and bottom, and additional ones measuring 240mm and 140mm on the sides and the back respectively. It accommodates a video card up to 41cm in length.

For fans of compact systems, Chieftec is offering the Pro Cube 2, that likened to a subwoofer because of its large, round ventilation hole on the front panel. Inside, it accommodates micro-ATX motherboards installed horizontally, unlike traditional vertical setups, and can house video cards up to 32cm long and processor coolers up to 16cm high.

The Iceberg Dark series, with simple black fans and without lighting in the pump block, is a minimalist’s dream.

Lastly, Chieftec showcased two new power supply units. The Atmos series with 750W and 850W variants conforms to the ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.1 specifications, equipping a 12V-2×6 power connector for graphics cards and follows a fully modular cable connection scheme. Chieftec’s Vita series offers power supply units for the masses, with non-detachable cables, 80 Plus Bronze efficiency, and power outputs of 750W and 850W.
