Enter Chris Doel, a YouTube innovator who has shown that these discarded devices hold untapped potential. By extracting batteries from 500 disposable vapes, Doel crafted a powerful battery array capable of supplying electricity to his workshop and home appliances.

Building a Sustainable Power Source

Doel’s project involved constructing modules of nine batteries each, which were further combined into cells of four to form substantial battery units. These units generated roughly 50 volts, subsequently converted to 240 volts using an inverter. Remarkably, this setup not only powered tools and lighting in Doel’s workshop but also supported household usage.
