Seasonic, a known company in power supply space, has launched a new addition to its Vertex series power supply units – Vertex Sakura. The new piece stands out from the usual black models in the line with its unique pink and white exterior, decorated with cherry blossom illustrations.
The Seasonic Vertex Sakura was recently showcased in Japan. Its base model is the Vertex-GX-1000, which boasts a 1000 Watt capacity. Characterized by its 80 Plus Gold certification, this signals the power supply’s high energy efficiency.
The device is fully modular, adheres to the ATX 3.0 standard, and is equipped with a 12+4-pin 12VHPWR power connector destined for NVIDIA graphics cards.
The unit is priced approximately at 30,000 yen, or about $200. With its unusual aesthetic and Japanese motifs, Seasonic anticipates high demand for this power supply model in Japan. The company’s official store in Japan has even recommended pre-ordering due to its limited edition release.
Whether Seasonic plans to release Vertex Sakura in other regions has not been specified yet.
