TECNO Launches MEGA MINI Gaming G1 at the MWC 2024 Exhibition in Barcelona
At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, TECNO rolled out its MEGA MINI Gaming G1, lauded by the company as the world’s smallest gaming desktop PC furnished with liquid cooling and a discrete graphics card. The caveat, however, is that the new offering is developed on a mobile platform.
Design and Appearance
The compact system’s housing comes with glass frontal and side panels, granting a view of the petite box within. Transparent tubes run towards the components housed within, an add-on cooling fan with ARGB backlighting. Multi-functional, the casing is set up with several external USB ports and an LCD panel that displays the operating system’s main information.
Hardware Specifications
The MEGA MINI Gaming G1 runs on the latest generation of the Intel Core Ultra (Meteor Lake) mobile processors. TECNO also offers an option to upgrade to the high-performance Intel Core i9-13900H mobile gaming processor from the Raptor Lake series, which can clock up to 5.4 GHz.
The system comes equipped with 32 GB of SO-DIMM RAM (expandable) and a 1 TB solid-state drive (SSD). At this time, TECNO has yet to reveal the specific discrete graphics card featured in the MEGA MINI Gaming G1.
The MEGA MINI Gaming G1 also supports Wi-Fi 6E and features a Thunderbolt 4 interface. Plus, the desktop includes an Oculink interface, which enables the plug-in of external graphics cards.
Availability and Pricing
TECNO remains tight-lipped regarding the pricing and availability details for its compact PC, the MEGA MINI Gaming G1.
