The Callisto Protocol and Still Wakes the Deep Became Part of Game Pass’ June Releases, while High on Life and The Bookwalker are Set to Depart the Subscription Soon

Microsoft Publishing has announced the first wave of June game additions for Xbox and PC Game Pass subscribers on the Xbox Wire news blog, and also revealed the list of games departing the service.

As of today, the role-playing games Octopath Traveler and Octopath Traveler II are available on PC and Xbox Game Pass. The sequel debuted on Microsoft’s platforms just a few hours ago. Both projects will remain in the subscription until January 2026.

Three additional games will enrich the Game Pass library next week:

  • PC Game Pass will be the digital role-playing game Depersonalization, which is inspired by Call of Cthulhu, on June 12;
  • The historical multiplayer shooter, Isonzo, set during World War I, will be added to the PC and Xbox Game Pass on June 13;
  • The sci-fi horror game, The Callisto Protocol, will also join the PC and Xbox Game Pass on June 13.

Of the June premieres already confirmed for Game Pass, Microsoft also pointed out Still Wakes the Deep. This psychological horror title will be added to the service’s catalog on PC, Xbox Series X, and S on the release date – June 18th.

There is speculation that the Game Pass library will also add one more unannounced game from Xbox itself in the first half of June. The game’s presentation and premiere are expected on June 9th at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase 2024.

In late May, Microsoft also confirmed the release of the new game in the popular military shooter series, Call of Duty – Black Ops 6, in Game Pass. The game will be added to the service’s catalog on its release day, expected at the end of October.

As for the games leaving the service, on June 15th, five projects will depart from PC and Xbox Game Pass. The list includes Bramble: The Mountain King, High on Life, Rune Factory 4 Special, Spacelines from the Far Out, and The Bookwalker.
