The software tools available in the new Easy Toolkit will be offered this fall with select Linksys Wireless-G and SpeedBooster products.

These Easy Tool Kit features the following software tools:
Intel® Smart Wireless Solution –developed by Intel and Linksys to improve users’ wireless experience. The key feature included in this software suite is the Wireless Network Configuration Wizard, which simplifies configuration through three simple steps. The application prompts users through the three-step setup process which simultaneously configures both a wireless router/AP and the Intel Centrino mobile technology notebook computer. The wizard application automatically appears on a notebook computer when the Intel PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi client software senses a new and un-configured Linksys wireless router (Models WRT54G v2.1 and WRV54G). There is no additional software to install or run – users are guided through setup via a click-through process.
Auto Fix Diagnostics – is a series of tech support diagnostic software tools that enables users to check their PCs and clients to automatically resolve any driver issues they may be experiencing. This diagnostic solves common issues users may encounter without requiring advanced computer knowledge from the user.
SecureEZSetup’ – enables Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) security on networks and automatically configures the router/access point. By choosing two simple questions and answers, users can utilize this Setup. When adding a second computer to the network, with the same questions and answers, the second computer will be configured to the network. This allows setup to be easier without having to remember long and obscure security keys, while minimizing the chance of entering the wrong key. Linksys is working with Broadcom to develop SecureEZSetup for the latest versions of the following Linksys products: WRT54G, WRT54GS, WPC54GS, WMP54GS.
EZ Answers – is an online knowledge base for quick responses to questions users may have about their Linksys products.
