If you read my review I go over the compatible headsets. __________________ Dave Ciccone Founder Handheld Marketing Group, LLC Dave’s iPAQ is not affiliated with HP NEW Dont forget our Podcast hotline telephone number in the US: 1-425-738-9506 available 24 hours a day 7 days a week or leave us a SKYPE Voicemail by clicking here . Where I can order the one you posted about here?: http://davesipaq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3359 You closed the thread so I couldnt ask there. You seem to be the only site with info and pictures. I’m hoping I can order it now so it will be here by the time I get my new 6315. I plan to make the 6315 my gym mp3 player / phone combo. As far as a generic mono “bluetooth headset” for phone only use, I’m not sure which one to get yet. I’ve seen a lot of people useing the Jabra ones over the past few years. I see they have a new updated 250 model out that looks interesting:http://www.jabra.com/products/BT250_Bluetooth.htm Last edited by s4czech : 08-05-2004 at 06:54 AM. |

Anybody have experience with Anycom or Multi-tooth? Also I think the earpiece is about the worst looking I’ve seen. |

Hi fyz88, Here are the steps: Step 1: At your iPAQ, turn on the Bluetooth and go to the Bluetooth Manager. Step 2: Press “New” for Hands-free/Headset setup and then press “Next” At this juncture, prepare your HS820 by following the steps below. Step 3: Make sure your HS820 is turned off first. Step 4: Press the HS820 Multi Function Button until LED remains ON all the time. (key learning -> the LED will flash in the first few seconds, DO NOT LET GO THE BUTTON, CONTINUOUSLY PRESS UNTIL THE LED IS ALWAYS ON. It takes more than 5 seconds). When HS820 LED is always ON, it is now ready to be paired with the iPAQ. Step 5: (continue from step 2) At iPAQ, press next. The bluetooth logo will swivel indicating the iPAQ is detecting the HS820 bluetooth device. Step 6: Once detected, you will be prompted to enter HS820 passkey. Enter “0000” passkey (as provided by HS820 manual). The Motorola HS820 icon will emerge shortly. At this point, your HS820 is now paired with iPAQ and ready for use. How to use HS820, refer to its manual. Happy bluetoothing… hope this helps. Regards, Hanley Last edited by Hanley : 10-03-2004 at 11:11 PM. Reason: Added step 6 for HS820 passkey | |
