Gigabyte, a renowned computer hardware manufacturer, is set to launch the B650E Aorus Pro X USB4 motherboard, which incorporates exceptional features usually expected from a flagship model. The motherboard is set to be unveiled at the coming Computex 2024 Exhibition. News of the innovative product was shared by tech portal Benchlife, who also revealed the product in pictures.
Reinforced Features
The upcoming B650E Aorus Pro X USB4 motherboard has reinforced B1 and B2 memory slots which are the most commonly utilized, and the remarkable addition of an extraordinary fortified PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the graphic card. Each new generation of gaming accelerators grows massive and heavier, and Gigabyte’s reinforcement efforts aim to counter the increasing stress on the PCIe x16 slots.
Improved Gaming Experience
Gigabyte believes additional support will help improve the gaming experience, hence the reinforced PCIe 5.0 x16 slot on the B650E Aorus Pro X USB4. This motherboard has its PCIe 5.0 x16 slot strengthened by installation of a metallic plate on its motherboard attachment point, adding a 58kg resistance force. In addition, it has a user-friendly mechanism for easy installation and removal of the graphic card.

The B650E Aorus Pro X USB4 motherboard is equipped with two USB4 (Type-C) ports, operating from ASMedia ASM4242 controller, certified to transfer data up to 3800 MB/s. The motherboard is also furnished with three M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 slots and one M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for NVMe storage, supplied with screwless SSD mounting mechanisms.
Wi-Fi Support and Display Features
Alongside providing a novel mechanism for Wi-Fi antennae connection, the B650E Aorus Pro X USB4 motherboard proclaims Wi-Fi 7 support maintained by the MediaTek MT7927 controller. It also accommodates an interface for the Sensor Panel Link, enabling an external mini display to show useful system information.
