The open-world, adventure action game Ghost of Tsushima, created by Sucker Punch Productions, seems to be next in line to shed its PlayStation exclusivity. The announcement of an impending PC version has been confirmed by yet another insider.
The revelation follows Nick Baker, co-host of the XboxEra podcast, mentioning on Twitter on March 1, about upcoming news regarding Ghost of Tsushima for PC. The insider had speculated the announcement would be made on March 5, but this did not happen.
Users on Reddit noticed that several hours before Baker, a French insider known as Haothors had also spoken about the forthcoming announcement for Ghost of Tsushima for PC. He had previously predicted news of the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West, which proved to be correct.
According to Haothors, the announcement of Ghost of Tsushima for PC is set to take place on March 6. The insider also claims that the highly anticipated sequel, Ghost of Tsushima 2 (final title unknown), will be unveiled in the first half of 2024, potentially during the presentations scheduled for May or June.
The original Ghost of Tsushima was released on PlayStation 4 on July 17, 2020, and a director’s version was subsequently made available on PlayStation 5 on August 20, 2021. The game tells the story of the last surviving samurai of his clan, Jin Sakai, and his resistance against Mongol invaders.
