ASUS Releases Low-Profile GeForce RTX 4060 LP BRK with Three Fans

ASUS Launches Low-Profile GeForce RTX 4060 LP BRK with Triple-fan System

ASUS has introduced the GeForce RTX 4060 LP BRK, a low-profile video card equipped with a triple-fan cooling system.

Graphics Specifications

This novelty from ASUS uses the AD107-400 graphics chipset with 3072 CUDA cores. Additionally, it boasts 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Unlike most other RTX 4060 versions available in the market, this variant doesn’t feature any extra factory overclocking. This decision is primarily driven by ASUS’s focus on the size of the GeForce RTX 4060 LP BRK and its compatibility with compact PCs.

Increasing Popularity Among Gaming Systems

Low-profile video cards are usually found in semi-professional systems. However, attempts are being made by some manufacturers, particularly Gigabyte, to make these solutions more popular among gaming enthusiasts. Evidently, this idea has inspired ASUS to launch its own low-profile RTX 4060 LP BRK.

Cooling System and Power Consumption

Its cooling system includes three small fans and a relatively sizable radiator. Unfortunately, the card is not ultra-compact, requiring two open expansion slots in the PC case. It consumes 115 Watts of power and comes equipped with a single 8-pin power connector.

Design and Output Ports

The ASUS GeForce RTX 4060 LP BRK closely resembles Gigabyte’s earlier low-profile GeForce RTX 4060 LP design, right down to the set of external video ports. Both cards are equipped with two HDMI 2.1 and two DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, allowing for the connection of up to four monitors simultaneously.

Pricing

As of now, ASUS hasn’t released the pricing details of the GeForce RTX 4060 LP BRK. For reference, Gigabyte’s GeForce RTX 4060 LP model is currently listed for sale on Amazon US for $325. It’s plausible that the ASUS model may be offered within a similar price range.
