Browser version of Xbox Cloud Gaming now supports mouse and keyboard in 26 games.

Microsoft Enables Mouse and Keyboard Support for Xbox Cloud Gaming Service

Microsoft has rolled out the Mouse and Keyboard support feature for Xbox Cloud Gaming service in its beta version. The update comprises 26 games including popular titles like Fortnite, Sea of Thieves, and Halo Infinite. Gamers can now enjoy Xbox games using a mouse or a keyboard using Edge or Chrome browsers at xbox.com/play.

Expansion of Xbox Cloud Gaming Functionality

First announced in March, the feature is now available on the browser-based version of Xbox Cloud Gaming. By the end of this month, Microsoft intends to permit PC owners to use the Xbox app to opt for cloud games that have mouse and keyboard support. The enhancement broadens the Xbox Cloud Gaming functionality, making the service more captivating for PC users.

Xbox Cloud Gaming users praised the mouse and keyboard support in Halo Infinite and Sea of Thieves, highlighting that the feature lives up to the expectations. This substantial improvement adds convenience in mobile gaming as it eliminates the need for an Xbox controller to access various games.
