DeepCool, a renowned tech company, dazzled attendees with an array of innovative products at Computex 2024 in Taipei, Taiwan. They exhibited distinctive computer cases, the latest in air and liquid cooling systems, and other exciting tech. We had the opportunity to examine their booth and will share the most impressive highlights.
The Flagship Series
The DeepCool Assassin flagship cooler series introduced the Assassin IV VC Vision. This model features a vapor chamber in its copper base, allowing for the cooling of processors with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of up to 300W. Vapor chambers are typically found in graphics card cooling systems but are lesser spotted in CPU coolers. However, this unique feature should enhance its performance.
A noteworthy attribute of the Assassin IV VC Vision model is its digital display on top, showing CPU system information such as temperature (it has a built-in thermocouple in the base), frequency and other parameters. It is designed to flash a warning if the processor excessively heats up.
Compact Coolers
The air coolers AK400 Digital Pro and AK620 Digital Pro come with similar displays but are more compact in size. The former is smaller in cooling system size, whereas the latter boasts a sizeable two-tower structure.
DeepCool also introduced the low-profile cooler AN400 designed for compact system enthusiasts. This cooler, featuring a Top Flow design with a fan located above the base, stands only 53mm tall. It can fit in even the most constrained spaces. Despite its compact size, the manufacturer guarantees the AN400’s ability to handle even the most powerful modern chips, with a maximum TDP of 150W.
Liquid Cooling Systems
The audience was not deprived of new liquid cooling systems. The Mystique AIO series received an update with new FD12 ARGB fans featuring lights. Its coolers come equipped with 2.8-inch LCD displays, with a 640×480 pixel resolution and brightness of 750 cd/m², which can project a diverse range of images – including animated ones – or system performance metrics.
DeepCool also introduced the entirely new LP Matrix series of liquid cooling systems. These present 5th generation pumps with 14×14 dot matrix screens on the lid, which can display animations, images, or system information like CPU temperature. The FD12 ARGB fans with lights are also employed in these coolers.
New Features
The FD12 (120mm) and FD14 (140mm) fans with and without ARGB lights received updates that include an optimized blade design and 2nd generation 8-contact cables for fan linking.
Computer Cases
DeepCool showcased the CH560R, CH170 Digital and CH160 Mesh computer cases. All of them adopt a minimalist design with mesh panels for excellent ventilation. The CH170 Digital has a modular construction and features a built-in display in its base. The display can show system stats like fan speeds, among other things. The CH560R case, on the other hand, is compatible with motherboards from MSI and Asus with rear-side connectors.
Casing Customizability
DeepCool introduced Pixels – tiny colored rubber cubes that fit into the company’s casing grills as mosaic elements. This way, you can create pixel art on your case, further customizing your system. Currently, screen models CH160, CH360, CH360 Digital, CH560, CH560 Digital, CH780, and Morpheus are compatible with Pixels.
