Coverage from FSP Booth at Computex 2024: Unveiling New Power Supplies, Cases, and Cooling Systems

At the Computex 2024 exhibition in Taiwan, FSP introduced several notable new products. This included three new power supply series, VITA, ADVAN, and MEGA, along with new computer cases and cooling systems. Visitors were treated to an exciting overview of these new offerings at the FSP booth.

VITA Power Supply Series

FSP’s VITA series power supplies are geared towards budget-friendly desktop computers. They offer energy efficiency levels of 80 Plus Bronze and 80 Plus Gold, depending on the model. Power ratings range from 550 to 1000 Watts, with colour options in both black and white. Equipped with high-quality capacitors for reliability and longevity, the top-tier models include low noise fans ensuring quiet operation without sacrificing performance.

ADVAN Power Supply Series

Targeting gaming systems and workstations, the ADVAN series power supplies strike a balance between performance and price. Power ratings for this series range from 500 to 1000 Watts, with energy efficiency levels ranging from 80 Plus Bronze to 80 Plus Platinum according to the model. Notable features of the ADVAN series include a fan stop function for silent operation during low load, flat black cables for easy cable management, and strong protection against voltage fluctuations.

MEGA Power Supply Series

The new MEGA series from FSP aims to satisfy power-hungry gaming systems and overclocking enthusiasts. These power supplies range from 1000 to 1650 Watts in power. The MEGA TI 1650 W flagship model boasts an 80 Plus Titanium certification, guaranteeing top performance and reliability. MEGA power supplies come with hydrodynamic bearing fans for silent and reliable cooling, and a special coating for durability under high-load operating conditions.

FSP Cannon PRO 2500 W

The FSP Cannon PRO 2500 W power supply is a standout product, boasting an impressive 2500 Watts power with an efficiency of 80 Plus Platinum. It comes with four 12V-2×6 cables, allowing it to power systems with up to four GeForce RTX 4090s. This power supply is clearly designed to meet the needs of high-performance workstations.

The FSP VITA and ADVAN series power supplies are set to hit the markets this year, while the MEGA series is expected in the first quarter of the following year. Notably, all these power supplies comply with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards.

New FSP Air and Liquid Cooling Solutions

Beside power supply units, FSP showcased their new cooling solutions for CPUs. This lineup included air coolers NE5, NP5, ME7, and MP7 as well as closed-loop water cooling systems AE24, AE36, and AE48. The air coolers NE5, NP5, and MP7 presented relatively compact one-tower solutions, whereas the ME7 cooler utilized a twin-tower design with two fans. As for the liquid coolers, models with radiators ranging from 240mm, 360mm, and even 480mm were displayed – all generously decorated with multi-color lighting.

All FSP cooling systems not only ensure effective cooling for even the most powerful processors, but also operate silently.

New FSP Computer Cases

In addition, FSP revealed new cases for desktop computers at the exhibit. For instance, the U700 AI Workstation case is built for powerful AI-based systems. It supports the installation of two power supplies and several potent graphics accelerators. Furthermore, a massive 480mm radiator can be installed for water cooling.

For gaming systems, FSP proposes cases like U690, M580, and S380. These designs feature striking tempered glass panels, good ventilation, and support for sizeable radiator-based liquid cooling systems. The S380 model is designed with compactness in mind, with the M580 essentially being a slightly enlarged version.

FSP’s new Computer Cases

The FSP U690 case is the largest among the gaming models. It stands out with its increased capacity, transparent top panel and digital display on the front panel. This display provides information about the system, such as fan speed, CPU load, etc.
