Enotria: The Last Song, a sun-soaked action role-playing game set in Italian legends from Jyamma Games, was initially slated for release on June 21. However, the same day also marked the release of the Elden Ring’s expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree.
The creators of Enotria: The Last Song announced their release plans on February 17. However, only four days later, the announcement of Shadow of the Erdtree created a challenging situation for the small Italian studio.
“We fully understand that releasing on the same day as Elden Ring would be suicidal for our game, as it would for any other,” admitted Greco Giacomo, CEO of Jyamma Games, on the game’s official Discord server.
Giacomo stated Jyamma Games was prepared to swiftly change course and delay the release of Enotria: The Last Song. It’s certain the game will not be released on June 21 now.
The new release date for Enotria: The Last Song along with other key news about the game is set to be announced by Jyamma Games on March 21 in the spring presentation of the Future Games Show, scheduled to start at 23:00 Moscow time.
The storyline of Enotria: The Last Song unfolds in the fantasy land of Enotria, trapped in Canovaccio’s never-ending play. Players, assuming the role of the Maskless, free from enforced roles, contend with the Authors to break the world free from stagnation.
Enotria: The Last Song is being developed for PCs (Steam, EGS), PS5, and Xbox Series X and S. Promising features include various masks for assuming different roles, the ability to dynamically alter reality.
