EK introduces EK-Quantum InWin 977EK PC case with liquid cooling feature

The Slovenian liquid-cooling systems manufacturer, EK has introduced a new computer case dubbed EK-Quantum InWin 977EK. Developed in partnership with InWin, the case is designed especially for liquid cooling PCs, featuring a dedicated capacity for two 420mm radiators, arrangements for pumps, reservoirs, and combination units. Its unique design offers an easy and convenient assembly for premium PCs with customized liquid-cooling systems.

Specifications and Design

The EK-Quantum InWin 977EK measures 525 × 250 × 575mm and is handcrafted from a solid sheet of high-quality matte aluminum, 4mm in thickness. It adopts removable dust filters and mountings at the top and bottom for radiator placements, which are easily reachable via the back of the case by loosening four screws on the rear panel. This approach makes the cooling system installation and maintenance process simple.

The design incorporates a removable motherboard tray, which further simplifies the PC assembly process. The power supply unit bracket pulls out from the case and functions as a base for the pump, reservoir, or combination unit. The construction supports tube-style combination systems such as the EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 300, as well as flat systems like the EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT 240.

Compatibility and Storage

The case can accommodate E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ATX motherboard standards, as well as a graphics accelerator up to 330mm in length and 190mm in width. The manufacturers have also provisioned for the setup of two 420mm liquid-cooling radiators. The case includes a removable panel for storage devices where you can attach 2.5- and 3.5-inch drives up to 26mm thick.

Pricing and Availability

The EK-Quantum InWin 977EK includes a solid front panel that hosts a power button at the bottom, with the manufacturer’s logo augmented by RGB lighting. The case will be available in black and silver color variants. To secure this product, consumers will have to set aside €800.
