The gloomy metroidvania Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, developed by Live Wire and Adglobe, is set to continue. The sequel, aptly named Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, is due to launch soon.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist was introduced at the February Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase last week. It was initially set to release in 2024 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is being developed for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, S, and Switch. It will debut in early access on Steam as early as March 26, with its comprehensive release on all target platforms slated for completion by the end of 2024.
Events in Ender Magnolia unfolds decades after the first installment in the Foggy Country — a magical realm where artificial beings known as homunculi are created. These homunculi have been turned into monsters after being driven to madness by the foul miasma.
Players will assume the role of a girl called Lilac, join forces with allies, triumph over formidable enemies, and reclaim lost memories to ultimately determine the fate of both humans and homunculi.
Fans can anticipate a beautiful yet brutal world where magic intersects with technology, over 30 unique skills, double the quantity of equipment, upgrades and artifacts compared to the first game, selectable difficulty levels and Russian language support.
The game will launch with four unique areas, each with its own specific adversaries and bosses, as well as all the essential gameplay mechanics. The early access period is projected to last between six and twelve months.
