Microsoft Updates

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Microsoft is planning on releasing critical patches for Windows , Office, MSN Messenger and Exchange. If you plan on taking advantage of these critical updates make sure you go directly to the Microsoft site NOT through an email link.

I’m reminding you to go DIRECTLY to the Microsoft site because there have been some FAKE emails that have been circulating that bring you to a bogus site. Microsoft does NOT send HTML emails that link to their site. The safest practice is to go directly to Microsoft and check for updates.

The releases scheduled for tomorrow from the Microsoft Security Response Center will address:

5 Microsoft Security Bulletins affecting Microsoft Windows. 1 Microsoft Security Bulletin affecting Microsoft Office. 1 Microsoft Security Bulletin affecting MSN Messenger. 1 Microsoft Security Bulletin affecting Microsoft Exchange.

You can read the Microsoft Security Bulletin Advance Notification here.
