Palit Unveils New Video Card Models: Neptunus, Beyond Limits, Master, and more at Computex.

In the current Computex 2024 exhibition, Palit presented a surprise in the form of new graphic cards. While manufacturers typically refresh their versions of video cards with new generations, Palit launched new models ahead of Nvidia’s announcement of its Blackwell accelerators in around six months on Ada Lovelace solutions basis.

GeForce RTX 4090 Neptunus

One of the showcased innovations was the GeForce RTX 4090 Neptunus model. It is a variant of the GameRock OC, equipped with a hybrid cooling system that involves conventional fans, a radiator, and liquid cooling components. This card will be connected to a custom liquid cooling system using Palit’s own G 1/4″ threaded fittings. As per Palit, in an air cooling mode, the card’s performance should match the usual GameRock OC model.

GeForce RTX 4080 Super Beyond Limits

Another card, the GeForce RTX 4080 Super Beyond Limits, stands out with its importantly-sized cooling system occupying 3.5 expansion slots, comprising of three high static pressure fans. The card features an attractive RGB light with a mirror frame stretching across the upper edge. Palit also offers a Beyond Limits Crystal variation, uniquely decorated with crystals, producing intriguing lighting effects in combination with the backlighting.

GeForce RTX 4080 Master

Palit also revealed the GeForce RTX 4080 Master model, which piqued the interest of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who even autographed it at Palit’s booth. The card stands out with its elegant cooling system design, featuring two large fans.

RTX 4090 Prototype

At Computex, Palit also showed off the RTX 4090 prototype, equipped with a modular, maintenance-free liquid cooling system developed by Lynk+. Additionally, Palit disclosed that they are working on a new design for video cards for compact, powerful SFF gaming builds.
