Report from Ocypus booth at Computex 2024: New casings and CPU coolers unveiled

The Computex 2024 showcased a diverse range of products including gaming PCs, coolers, and fans from renowned manufacturers and startups alike. Our report brings focus to Ocypus, a new-entry producer of PC components that debuted its impressive range of computer chassis and cooling systems. The Shenzhen-based Ocypus Technology, the ownership of this brand was established in 2023 and is now headquartered in Beijing.

At Computex 2024, Ocypus exhibited a wide array of modern gaming PC cases, fans, and cooling systems.

Liquid Cooling Solutions: Iota L36 AIO

The Iota L36 AIO liquid cooling solution with a 300W TDP features three 120mm fans equipped with fluid dynamic bearings (FDB). The fans can rotate at speeds ranging from 500 to 2000 RPM and generate high static pressure. Accompanied by a pump with a display, it denotes the cooling fluid’s temperature. The AIO supports Intel LGA 115x, 1200, 1700, and 18xx, and AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets. The radiator measures 397 × 120 × 27mm and the ARGB fans 120 × 120 × 25mm, connected via two 400mm tubes.

Performance Specifications

The fans produce an airflow of up to 77 CFM and a static pressure of 4.65mm H2O. The noise level doesn’t exceed 29dB. Available in both white and black, the cooler simplifies its design with the Delta L36 AIO, featuring ARGB lighting but lacking a display.

Air Cooling Solutions: Ocypus’ Flagship – Iota A62

If liquid cooling isn’t your preference, Ocypus’ Iota A62 air cooling solution may be an alternative. The flagship cooler features a dual-tower structure and embedded LED screen that indicates chip temperature. It can cool processors having a TDP of up to 290W. With two hydrodynamic bearing 120mm fans, it works in a push-pull configuration, providing an airflow of up to 77 CFM, a static pressure of 4.65mm H2O, and a noise level maximum of 29dB.

Performance Specifications

With support for Intel LGA 115x, 1200, 1700, and 18xx, and AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets, the cooler measures 127 × 136 × 158mm and weighs 1259.7g. A socket-compatible air cooling variant is also available – the Delta A62; however, it does not feature a display or fan lighting.

Tower Type Coolers: Iota A40 and Delta A40

Also displayed were the tower type coolers Iota A40 and Delta A40. While they lack the fan lighting, they cover for it with a LED temperature display panel. With the ability to cool processors of up to 220W TDP, these coolers, measuring 120 × 70.5 × 156.7mm and weighing 791.1g, are equipped with a hydrodynamic bearing fan, providing an airflow of up to 77 CFM and static pressure of 4.6mm H2O at a noise level no higher than 29dB.

Ocypus Computer Chassis: Iota C70

Ocypus’ product line also includes the Iota C70, an ATX cube-shaped case featuring a vertically sectioned layout. Supported form factors include ATX, mATX, and ITX. The case can accomodate graphics cards up to 400mm long and coolers up to 175mm high. Pre-installed with six 120mm ARGB fans, the case allows the addition of three more fans of 120mm or 140mm and a 360mm AIO radiator. It includes two mounting slots for 2.5″ drives and another two for 3.5″ drives, with six expansion slots. Measuring 425 × 295 × 388mm, the chassis’ front panel features a temperature display.

Other Releases

Apart from the aforementioned products, Ocypus also showcased the Gamma C70 Mid-Tower chassis and Gamma C50 Micro-ATX model at Computex 2024.
