Sales of GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super Begin in Russia, Priced at $799 or Over 100,000 Rubles

Hardware giant NVIDIA has globally launched the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card, with a recommended sale price of $799. Interestingly, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, which the new product replaces, was also initially sold at this price. The new card has made its way into the Russian market as well, owing to parallel imports. However, the card is more expensive in Russia, as predicted earlier.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super is powered by the AD103-275 GPU with 8448 CUDA cores. This is a notable improvement over the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti which had only 768 cores. The new graphics card comes loaded with 66 SM units, 96 raster units, 264 tensor and texture units each, 66 RT cores, and 48 MB of L2 cache memory. The base and boost frequency for the new card’s GPU are 2340 MHz and 2610 MHz respectively, compared to the plain RTX 4070 Ti’s 2310 MHz base and 2610 MHz boost speed.

GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super benchmarks reveal marginal performance improvement, with the card performing up to 7% faster than the original RTX 4070 Ti model. Surprisingly, however, it lags behind the cheaper ($710) Radeon RX 7900 XT in non-ray tracing games.

According to VideoCardz, the market has already begun selling the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super with standard specifications, as well as factory overclocked versions. Standard versions are being sold at NVIDIA’s recommended price of $799. Meanwhile, overclocked versions are edging close to the $1000 mark. The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super MASTER 16G, for example, is priced at $899, while the ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super Strix OC, which was tested by TechPowerUp, is being sold from a range starting at $950.

In Russia, different versions of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super can be found at retailers such as “OnlineTrade” and “Citylink”. Prices of the graphics card vary at “OnlineTrade”, from 104,000 rubles for the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super VENTUS 3X OC to 116,000 rubles for the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super MASTER 16G version.

At “Citylink”, prices range from 103,400 rubles for the Palit GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super JetStream OC 16GB version to 118,600 rubles for the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super MASTER 16G version.
