Thermalright Introduces Peerless Assassin 120 MINI CPU Cooler

Thermalright, a leading computer hardware manufacturer, has launched a new CPU cooler, named Peerless Assassin 120 MINI. The mid-sized, dual-tower apparatus is a more compact version of the original Peerless Assassin 120, released in 2021. Thermalright will offer the new cooler in two color options – black and white.

Dimensions and Weight

The Peerless Assassin 120 MINI is scaled as 125 x 110 x 145mm, noticeably more compact than the original Assassin 120, which measures 125 x 135 x 157mm. Furthermore, with a weight of 820 grams including a fan, the new variant is also lighter than the original model, which weighs 885 grams.

Cooler Makeup

The makeup of the Peerless Assassin 120 MINI comprises of a nickel-plated copper base and six 6mm copper heat pipes, similar to its predecessor.

Fan Configuration

Unlike its two-fan model predecessor, the Peerless Assassin 120 MINI uses just a single fan. It specifically utilizes the Thermalright TL-D12B fan, equipped with a hydrodynamic bearing and peaking at a speed of up to 1500 RPM. This particular fan can generate an air volume of up to 66.87 CFM, with static pressure amounting to 1.53mm H2O. Remarkably, the noise level during operation does not exceed 25.6 dBA.

Processor Socket Compatibility

The Peerless Assassin 120 MINI supports numerous CPU sockets, including Intel’s LGA 1700 and LGA 1200, as well as AMD’s Socket AM5 and AM4. However, the company has yet to disclose the price of the cooler.
