AnTuTu, a Chinese developer of mobile performance tests for Android devices, has published its May rankings. The clear winner is Vivo, which dominated the top positions of the flagship smartphones. Meanwhile, Qualcomm and MediaTek shared the title of fastest processors for both flagship and sub-flagship smartphones.
Vivo at the Top
The Vivo X100s, announced mid-month, emerged as the fastest phone with an average score of 2,105,621. OPPO Find X7 came in second with a score of 2,094,528, followed by Red Magic 9 Pro+ with 2,080,986. The top-ranking device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, followed by the same chip in the second-place device and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the third place. Considering Vivo and its sub-brand iQOO as a single entity, they claimed eight of the top ten spots in the flagship ranking.
Sub-flagship Rankings
The OnePlus Ace 3V was the top-ranking sub-flagship phone, scoring an average of 1,437,896. The Realme GT Neo6 SE came next with 1,381,173 points, while the Redmi K70E secured third place with 1,374,018. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 turned out to be the most performant processor among sub-flagships, powering the two fastest models. However, the list was equally dominated by MediaTek processors.
