Weekly Steam Chart: Discounts Boost Baldur’s Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 Back into Top 5, But Ghost of Tsushima Proves More Successful

In the week from May 14 to May 21, the highest-earning game on the Steam sales chart was not Hades II, but Ghost of Tsushima’s Director’s Cut version, taking over the number one spot.

Having become the most successful single-player Sony PC game and the company’s second top-grossing computer release after Helldivers 2, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut amassed 77,154 simultaneous users on May 19th. With over 10,500 reviews, the game boasts an 88% rating.

  • Baldur’s Gate 3, benefiting from its largest discount since release (15%), shot up 15 places to become third.
  • Cyberpunk 2077 returned to the top-5 thanks to a 50% discount, skyrocketing from the 50th position to the fourth.
  • Also entering the top-10 was Elden Ring, moving from 16th to seventh place.
  • Another new entry was Men of War II, a military strategy game from Best Way which took the 23rd spot. The game attracted 3,829 simultaneous players at its peak and received a 61% rating (based on 2,100 reviews), with users criticizing its unrealistic gameplay, clunky interface, weak AI, and questionable design decisions.
  • After initiating its fourth season, Diablo IV made a comeback to the chart, landing at 25th position and establishing a new record for simultaneous players (29,035).
