Dave’s Ipaq – iTECH Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard — A Real Taste of Virtual Reality!! @ Dave’s iPAQ

Having several iPAQs, it is always a challenge to use whatever accessory I get on all of them. Not that I will use the accessory of each one, I just want to know that it works and that I can do it. I have 5 iPAQs and installed the BTVKB on four of them (4700, 2715, 1940, 5555). The only reason I didn’t try it on my 3970 was because my wife is in California and took it with her. I did find that switching between devices meant a little extra work. For some reason, I had to delete the pairing and then redo it. The chances of me switching between my iPAQs frequently are slim, so having to redo the pairing is not a big deal. What is a big deal is that it worked on my devices and it was superior in performance.

I did find the need for a stand while entering text. I tried leaning my iPAQ against a book but it just wasn’t the perfect situation. SO I decided to take a trip to my local Gift Store to see if they had any stands. They did, it was absolutely perfect, and it only cost $2.00 so I bought two; one for my desk and the other to keep in my SCOTTeVEST. It is adjustable and will fold flat for transportation.

I have had the opportunity to work with a lot of different devices and accessories for them. By far, this one is about the “coolest” accessory that I have ever used with my iPAQ. Besides being very small, functional and clearly complementary to my iPAQ, it is just a real neat “toy” to have. Without the slightest hesitation, I give the BTVKB my highest recommendation.
