Epic Games Store Launches Free Offer of Futuristic Racer Redout 2
Keeping with previous promises, Epic Games Store has followed the launch of Marvel’s Midnight Suns with an enticing new offer: the high-speed futuristic racing game, Redout 2, is available for a free download.
About Redout 2
Set in the year 2589, Redout 2 puts players in the pilot’s seat to participate in the Solar Redout Racing league. These fast-paced races feature anti-gravity ships on magnetic tracks.
The game encompasses six modes, including a comprehensive campaign, 10 locations, and 36 tracks. Players can adjust the difficulty level and enjoy responsive controls. The multiplayer mode can host up to 12 players. The game also features an engaging soundtrack and is translated into Russian.
Critical Reception
Redout 2 launched in June 2022 on PCs and consoles. The game has earned a 70% rating from critics on OpenCritic and a 79% rating from Steam users (“mostly positive” reviews). The game draws inspiration from classic anti-gravity racing games like F-Zero and Wipeout.

In conjunction with the Redout 2 offer, Epic Games Store has also released a “Famous Warriors” content package reportedly worth over $100 for the freemium strategy game, Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms.
