RUMOR: MTekk Reports iPAQ h6300 may not hit the market?

“It appears that the HP iPAQ h6300 that we saw a few weeks ago may not be real. In an odd twist of fate, the pictures we saw may have only been of a test unit that was not intended for mass production. boeboe from our forums posted this, which is supposed to be from a project manager within HP: “OK we saw the pictures.Problem this device was a testing device. I am sorry to say that this device will not make it to the consumer market.Also we have notified pocket pc italia to remove their pics and story. We will not release any pda with gsm anytime soon. Sorry.”” This is quite interesting, given the recent news about a new HTC device that has undergone Bluetooth Qualification: but then, it’s easy enough for this to be a different device altogether.
