What will HP do with the iPOD?

just got my long-coveted 3G 20 GB Apple iPOD and have been busily transfering my CD collection and, LEGALLY obtained MP3 files, to iTunes for transfer to the spacious hard drive. As I ponder the idea of having an iPOD with me for music use, I wonder, what benefits will the programs in the ‘Extras’ folder provide me, a Windows PC user? Can an iPOD act as a PDA for someone who has used PDAs extensively or is it more of a bare-bones reference at best for people who don’t really want a “real” PDA?
