Asus has augmented its graphics card offerings with the launch of the GeForce RTX 3050 LP BRK 6GB low-profile model. This new addition will be available in versions with a slight factory overclock of the GPU, while the base variant comes without it.
The GeForce RTX 3050 LP BRK 6GB is built around the GA107-325 graphics processor with 2,304 CUDA cores. This is 10% fewer cores than the 2,560 offered by the 8GB version of the graphics card. Its basic GPU frequency stands at 1042 MHz, with a Boost mode frequency of 1470 MHz, 17% below the 1777 MHz of the 8GB model. According to the manufacturer, the overclocked GeForce RTX 3050 LP BRK 6GB variant boasts a Boost frequency of 1537 MHz. The 6GB video memory connects using a 96-bit bus. Operating at a speed of 14 Gbps per contact, the memory ensures a bandwidth of 168 GB/s.
The Asus GeForce RTX 3050 LP BRK 6GB graphics card measures 182 × 69 × 40 mm and features a cooling system with dual fans. Inside the computer case, the card will occupy two expansion slots. As its power consumption is a mere 70W, it does not require additional power inputs.
Asus has included two mounting brackets with the GeForce RTX 3050 LP BRK 6GB: a standard size and a low-profile one. The card comes equipped with a single HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, and DVI-D ports.
The cost of the GeForce RTX 3050 LP BRK 6GB is still unknown. However, the most affordable variant – Asus GeForce RTX 3050 in Dual configuration – is priced between $170 to $180.
