Bandai Namc announced the first Elden Ring patch in several months and revealed the system requirements for Shadow of the Erdtree.

A significant update and the first in several months, including the expansive addition, “Shadow of the Erdtree,” is scheduled for the Elden Ring, a fantasy Open-world action role-playing game, in the coming week.

The forthcoming Elden Ring update is planned for release on June 20, simultaneously with the Day One patch for “Shadow of the Erdtree.” Maintenance service of the game’s servers will run from 10:00 to 13:00 Moscow time.

Major Features of the New Elden Ring Patch

  • A tab for recently picked up items will be added to the inventory, and these items will be marked with an exclamation point;
  • Active summoning pools will now carry over into “New Game +”, with specific pools allowing deactivation;
  • Five new hairstyles options will be available in the character editor;
  • The update will also include bug fixes and balance adjustments.

Apart from that, the Elden Ring developers have confirmed the system requirements of Shadow of the Erdtree. They are nearly identical to the base game’s requirements, with the addition of Intel video cards and 20GB of extra storage space.

Elden Ring, released on February 25, 2022 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, has received high acclaim, bagged the main prize at The Game Awards 2022, and has sold over 25 million copies.

“Shadow of the Erdtree” is set for release on June 21 on the same platforms. It promises a map as large as the Graves, more than 10 major bosses, 8 categories, and over 100 new weapon models.
