Cooler Master has announced that their X Silent Edge and X Silent Max power supplies are now available for purchase. The new range offers power up to 1300 watts and comes with both active and passive cooling systems. These power supplies were first introduced at the Computex exhibition in the summer of last year. Aimed at the premium segment, the new range comes with a manufacturer-provided 15-year warranty.
The Cooler Master X Silent series includes the Edge models with capacity of 850 and 1100 watts and Max models offering up to 1300 watts. The Edge models come with a passive cooling system that features heat-conductive pipes, efficiently drawing heat away from components under load. Consequently, Cooler Master has become the first in the world to release a 1100-watt power supply with passive cooling.
The Cooler Master X Silent Max models, on the other hand, are equipped with ultra-quiet Mobius fans, which operate at no more than 20dB under load.
All power supplies in the Cooler Master X Silent series utilize high-quality components supplied by market leader, Infineon. The new range also supports digital control via the proprietary MasterCTRL app, through which users can monitor the power supply status and modify its operating parameters.
All Cooler Master X Silent power supply models have earned 80 Plus Platinum energy efficiency certificates, demonstrating their high efficiency under load. The new line also complies with the ATX 3.0 power standard and includes 12VHPWR connectors for graphics cards.
Cooler Master has not announced the price for the X Silent Edge and X Silent Max power supplies. However, the company noted that the new offerings are already on sale.
