As previously promised, the debut gameplay trailer for ‘Shadow of the Erdtree,’ an expansive addition to the fantasy roleplaying action game with an open world, Elden Ring, was released on February 21. The release date for the extension was also disclosed in the footage.
The insider, billbil-kun, was correct: ‘Shadow of the Erdtree’ will indeed be available for purchase only on June 21 this year. It’s expected to be released on platforms such as PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S.

Following the presentation, pre-order began. ‘Shadow of the Erdtree’ is priced at $40.
New Features in ‘Shadow of the Erdtree’
‘Shadow of the Erdtree’ unfolds in the Shadow lands hidden by the Erdtree, where Mikella, who has deprived himself of his flesh, strength, and origin, awaits the return of the promised ruler. The expansion includes new plotlines intertwined with drama and intrigue, puzzles, dangerous dungeons, enemies, bosses, types of weapons and skills for them, gear and spell.
In the three-minute gameplay trailer of ‘Shadow of the Erdtree,’ unexplored locations and inhabitants of the Shadow lands are shown, along with battles against a multitude of new enemies, including one of the main bosses — Messmer.
Collector’s Edition of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
A 46-centimeter statue of Messmer will be the main feature of the collector’s edition of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree (see image below). The set will also include a 40-page artbook and a digital soundtrack.
