“Forward, Two-Wheeled Roach”: CD Projekt RED Helps Create a Witcher-Styled BMW Motorcycle

CD Projekt RED, the renowned video game developer, has teamed up with BMW Motorrad Premium Arena, a dealership based in Lodz, Poland, to create a custom-designed motorcycle that draws inspiration from The Witcher game series. The unique cruiser model based on BMW R18 is adorned with various elements from The Witcher and carries the enigmatic name “Płotka,” which translates to “Roach” in English.

This special version of BMW R18 will not be offered for sale, as it has been exclusively created for the 2024 BMW motorcycle mod makers’ contest in Warsaw. The BMW Motorrad team aimed to “create a motorcycle that Geralt would be proud to ride.”

The custom BMW R18 Płotka boasts a unique aesthetic achieved through the use of matte metal and gray leather, as well as distinctive elements sourced from the artistry of CD Projekt RED’s Witcher universe, such as the Wolf School’s medallion and witcher signs. A chainmail insert at the back and straps to carry two swords round off the look of the two-wheeled ‘Roach.’
