I like Google! I use it all the time for a variety of reasons. One reason is because they are always making it better. Today, Google has started to offer their local-search service available from mobile devices. And yes…it is complete with maps and driving directions!

If you go to Google on your PC, there is a NEW item to the right called LOCAL. It is a great feature because it expands your ability to find find local businesses and services on the web. It’s cool and I use it alot!
But what do you do when you are on the road?
Use the same feature but with a slight twist. Google is now providing you with a mobile version and it is terrific!! I was in Boston and I wanted an ice cream. With this cool new feature…getting an ice cream was real easy. There was also easy direction and a ZOOM feature to find your way…very cool Google!!
