Davey Wreden, the creator of The Stanley Parable, Karla Zimonja, the co-author of Gone Home, and Daniel Rosenfeld, the composer for Minecraft, have come together at Ivy Road to create a new game named Wanderstop.
The game, Wanderstop, was announced by publisher Annapurna Interactive during the opening ceremony of the Summer Game Fest 2024, with a one-and-half-minute trailer shown below.
Wanderstop: A Cozy Game About Change and Tea
Portrayed as a cozy narrative game about change and tea, Wanderstop allows players to manage a teashop situated within an enchanting forest. The gameplay involves cultivating and collecting ingredients, as well as serving and getting to know your customers.
In their downtime from the tea business, players can clear their minds by tidying up, decorating the shop, and enjoying a few tranquil moments on a bench with a cup of tea. Patience is key in managing the teashop.

Meet Alta: From Warrior to Reluctant Teashop Owner
The protagonist of Wanderstop is a former warrior and “greatest fighter of the world championship” named Alta, who is now tasked with becoming a humble tea seller, much to her chagrin.
“No, she’s a fighter! Why would anybody want to turn the greatest champion into a humble tea seller, given what she’s capable of? No, no, no, she won’t, she can’t…” tease the developers.
Wanderstop is expected to be released later in 2024 on both PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5. According to the game’s Valve service page, there will be a Russian text translation available.
