The French company, Ubisoft, has kept quiet about the launch date of Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition. However, renowned insider, Tom Henderson, has disclosed the release date.
Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition Launch
Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition, an enhanced reissue marking the game’s 20th anniversary, was confirmed by Ubisoft in November. They had then promised a release, along with further details, early in 2024.
According to information from Henderson, the game is due to hit the shelves on 5th March. He had gathered this information during a recent investigation into Ubisoft’s practices. Henderson had held back this information due to the publisher’s propensity to postpone releases.
Ubisoft Gears Up For Launch
Recent indications suggest that Ubisoft is readying itself for the imminent release of Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition. The remastered version of the game made an appearance on the ratings commission’s website.
The South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) awarded Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition a classification for ages 12 and above. Usually, a game is granted an age rating shortly before its release.
Brief Access for Ubisoft+ Subscribers
In late November, subscribers to Ubisoft+ on Xbox had brief access to Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition unexpectedly. Ubisoft described this version as not indicative of the quality of the final game.
The release of Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition is expected on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. The remastered version will offer technical improvements and new content, including a mode, gallery, rewards, and achievements.
