Insider Reveals the First Game of the New Studio by Creators of Batman: Arkham and Its Financial Backers

Credible insider eXtas1s recently revealed to eXputer exclusive information about the first project of Rocksteady Studios co-founders Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker at their new venture, Hundred Star Games.

Hill and Walker departed Rocksteady in 2022, during the development of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. They established Hundred Star Games, a London-based studio focused on creating high-budget games.

eXtas1s reported, citing sources, that the debut project of Hundred Star Games will be a single-player adventure AAA-action game developed on Unreal Engine 5.

No further details about the game itself have been disclosed. However, eXtas1s suggested that Microsoft is financing the development, with Hundred Star Games entering into a partnership with Xbox Game Studios.

eXtas1s added, “Most likely, the project will become a platform exclusive, launching on PC and Xbox consoles. Though with the current Xbox strategy regarding exclusives, it’s hard to predict what will happen in the future.

Although the existence of Hundred Star Games was only revealed in January, the studio actually opened its doors in 2023. The intention is to assemble a team of a hundred people, spanning a mixture of industry veterans and fresh talent.

As for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the project deviated from the Batman: Arkham trilogy and emerged as a cooperative service game. Its release in February 2024 was officially acknowledged as a flop, costing Warner Bros. a staggering $200 million.
