iPAQ h6315 nominated for eWEEK 5th Annual Excellence Awards

NEW YORK, March 28 PRNewswire — eWEEK, “the enterprise newsweekly” and a Ziff Davis Media publication, announced today the finalists in its 5th annual Excellence Awards program. The awards honor the most innovative and relevant enterprise hardware, software and services announced in 2004 and available by the end of the first quarter of 2005. The winners will be announced in a special report that will run in the April 11th issue of eWEEK and at http://www.eweek.com. The winners will be honored at a special ceremony in Boston on April 26.

“Product evaluation is a critical job function for our readers, but it’s one that’s getting increasingly difficult as the number and complexity of products and business needs increases from year to year,” said Eric Lundquist, Editor-in-Chief, eWEEK. “We’re proud of the direction we’ve been able to provide to our readers through five years of conducting the Excellence Awards program. We’re also pleased that, through the program, we’ve been able to donate to non-profit organizations that leverage technology to serve young people.”

The Excellence Awards program provides enterprise decision makers with a comprehensive benchmark for assessing technology products and services. Evaluating the entries is a panel of experts including eWEEK Labs analysts and eWEEK Corporate Partners — senior enterprise IT professionals who act as reader representatives for eWEEK’s editorial staff.
