Japanese publisher and development giant, Konami, has just announced their own gaming presentation, catching gamers by surprise as they eagerly wait for confirmation of the new PlayStation Showcase or even a State of Play.
Konami intends to host a new instalment of the Silent Hill Transmission in the upcoming days. The broadcast is set to happen overnight from Thursday to Friday, with a kick-off slated for May 31 at 2:00 Moscow time.
The organizers promise fresh content surrounding Silent Hill series games, a sneak peek at the upcoming horror film ‘Return to Silent Hill,’ and a new theme merch.
Konami has not specified which Silent Hill games will be covered in the Silent Hill Transmission. However, the Bloober Team developers of Silent Hill 2 remake and Al Yang, the mysterious director of Silent Hill f, retweeted the presentation announcement.
“Together with our friends at Konami, we are thrilled to invite you to the Silent Hill Transmission happening this week. Stay tuned for updates,” urged Bloober Team to fans.
As The Silent Hill 2 remake is set to release in 2024 on PC (Steam) and PS5. It was initially thought that the launch date of the reinvention would be announced at Sony’s unannounced May games presentation but chances are this might occur in the Silent Hill Transmission.
Silent Hill f was announced in October 2022 at the previous Silent Hill Transmission. The game is set to unfold a “brand new story” set in the terrifying world of 1960s Japan.
