The annual Microsoft Build developer conference will be held in Seattle from May 21 to 23 this year, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technologies like the AI-assistant, Copilot. The announcement was posted on the X social network (formerly Twitter) Microsoft account here.
Last year, for the first time after the coronavirus pandemic, the Build conference was held in a physical format, while several previous events were held online due to the pandemic. This year’s in-person event will also take place in Seattle, but it will also be possible to follow it online. Lately, Microsoft has stepped up efforts to develop AI-based technologies which have resulted in the creation of tools such as Copilot Studio and Windows AI Studio. The software giant plans to focus on the integration of AI technologies into Windows and Microsoft 365. Therefore, it can be assumed with a high degree of certainty that the main focus of this year’s Build conference will be neural networks and tools based on them.
The schedule for the Build conference has not yet been published, but Microsoft is already offering those interested in participating to register. As for consumers, Microsoft is expected to share more about the future of Xbox this week and new devices from the Surface family are anticipated to be unveiled in the Spring.
