Need for Speed Unbound to Receive Four Updates Inspired by Previous NFS Series by End of the Year

Electronic Arts and Criterion Games have announced that their open-world racing arcade game, Need for Speed Unbound, will continue to receive new content through its second year post-release, as per their official Twitter account.

From now until December 2024, the racing game will receive four content packs. The developers intend to release the first pack anytime from February to April, which will include Audi-branded cars and a new set of racing rules.

Each update plan indicates that every update will bring a new mode (or game mechanics), along with two cars that have extensive customization options. For example, the second content pack will be dedicated to NFS: Underground, and the third to NFS: Hot Pursuit.

The developers have also promised to regularly release new themed events, challenges, and a host of technical corrections for Need for Speed Unbound. The racing game is available on PC (Steam, EA App, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
