Nintendo confirms the long-rumored Nintendo Direct presentation – announcements from Microsoft are expected.

Japanese publisher and developer, Nintendo, has confirmed the much-rumoured first Nintendo Direct broadcast for 2024, to be held this week, following weeks of speculation and hearsay.

The show, titled Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, is dedicated to games developed by Nintendo’s third-party studios — publishing and development partners.

The upcoming Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase is set to feature a 25-minute presentation of games from third-party studios destined for Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2024.

The Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase will kick off tomorrow, February 21, at 5:00 PM according to Moscow time. The proceedings can be followed on the YouTube Channel and official website of Nintendo.

It was previously reported that the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase was originally scheduled for last week, but was deferred due to Microsoft’s announcement of a new multi-platform strategy.

The Nintendo Direct could possibly reveal which Xbox exclusives will make it to other platforms. Microsoft has pledged to release four games outside its ecosystem, rumored to be Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded.

Based on comments on the X announcement, players are also hopeful to see the action-platformer Hollow Knight: Silksong featured in the show, which recently celebrated its five-year announcement anniversary – delighting the project’s fanbase.
