Nvidia has released the new GeForce Game Ready 555.85 WHQL graphics driver package. This update includes support for games F1 24, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II and Serum. These games feature DLSS 3 scaling technology, ray tracing, DLAA smoothing without scaling, and Reflex latency reduction. The driver also supports XDefiant, which utilizes Nvidia Reflex.
Nvidia attests that the use of the DLSS 3 frame-generation technology in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II enhances the gaming performance. When using GeForce RTX 4000 series desktop video cards, the game’s performance increases up to three times in 4K resolution, 2.3 times in 1440p resolution and 2.1 times in 1080p resolution.
With the use of DLSS 3 in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II on mobile GeForce RTX 40 series video cards, the performance increases up to 2.1 times in 1080p and 2.3 times in 1440p resolutions.
Meanwhile, the implementation of DLSS 3 in the Serum game boosts performance 2.6 and 2.2 times in 4K and 1440p resolutions, respectively.
The new Nvidia driver is also enhanced with optimum settings for four other games: Bellwright, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, Homeworld 3, and Infection Free Zone. Furthermore, it contains support for 11 new G-Sync compatible gaming monitors. You can check the complete list in the table below:
The driver also comes with a list of fixes:
- Random crashes in Tekken 8 on GeForce GTX 10 series video cards have been fixed.
- A problem in Horizon Forbidden West, wherein enabling Nvidia Reflex in “On + Boost” mode reduced GPU load, has been resolved.
- An issue with the Blender engine that led to errors in rendering motion blur effects on some Nvidia graphics architectures has been rectified.
The GeForce Game Ready 555.85 WHQL driver can be downloaded through the GeForce Experience application or the official Nvidia website.
