NVIDIA Releases Driver Supporting The Thaumaturge with Implemented DLSS 3 and Reflex

NVIDIA has announced the release of its latest graphic driver package titled GeForce Game Ready 551.76 WHQL. The package brings support for the dark role-playing game, The Thaumaturge, featuring the DLSS 3 image scaling technologies and NVIDIA Reflex.

A core feature of the driver package is the beta version of the new universal application, NVIDIA App. This app combines the functions of the NVIDIA graphics control panel and the GeForce Experience application.

Resolved issues with the new driver include

  • probems with the stability of The Talos Principle 2 during DLSS 3 Frame Generation;
  • errors and video damage issues with NVENC encoder on GeForce GTX 16 series graphics cards;
  • an issue with Steamwebhelper.exe that blocked switching of laptop screen modes.

Known issues with the driver are:

  • problems with Netflix video display in the Edge browser. Users are recommended to use the Netflix Windows application as a workaround;
  • random PC hangs with GeForce GTX 10 Series and RTX 20 Series graphics cards when Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling and NVIDIA SLI functions are both enabled.

The GeForce Game Ready 551.76 WHQL driver can be downloaded via the GeForce Experience application (or NVIDIA App if already installed) or from the NVIDIA’s official website.
